HaYoung is currently a second year student at the University of Iowa. She has a passionate heart for bringing justice and hope to oppressed and neglected communities in the world. She hopes for more active advocacy and higher awareness in human rights issues on campus through the UI Students for Human Rights. Besides UISHR, HaYoung is involved in The Salt Company and Global Health Club. She is an intern at the Iowa United Nations Association.
