Welcome to UISHR
The University of Iowa Students for Human Rights is a campus organization founded in October, 2012 to further the human rights education and leadership of University of Iowa students in the Iowa City and surrounding communities. We are an events-based team that bring together students, faculty, staff, organizations and community members to uphold the rights and integrity of every individual under the Universal Declaration of Human Rights through engaging in direct advocacy, hosting philanthropy events, and organizing awareness and education presentations.
Human Rights is cross disciplinary. Regardless of majors or experience, we accept both students and community members. Join Our Team
For a new student-run organization, we've done some really exciting things.
